How long until the calculator is running on my site?

Accepted Answer

Realistically, one afternoon. After signing up you get pre-filled materials, colors and default rates — you review them, adjust prices for your shop, and paste one line of code onto your website. No developer or designer needed.

Does it work with WordPress, Shopify or Wix?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The calculator is embedded with a single snippet of code that works anywhere you can paste custom HTML — WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or a custom-built website. It runs in an isolated frame, so it doesn't interfere with the look or behavior of the rest of your site.

Does it actually calculate the price correctly?

Accepted Answer

Volaryx analyzes the model for the selected technology. For FDM, a real slicer processes it — calculating material use, print time, and supports — and only then are your rates applied to the result. Don't take our word for it: upload your own model to the live demo and compare the result with your slicer.

Question 5

What if the calculated price doesn't feel right?

Accepted Answer

You fine-tune everything in your dashboard — material rates, machine hourly rates, minimum order value, and your own surcharges. Changes apply instantly. Pricing strategy stays entirely in your hands; Volaryx does the calculation.

Question 6

Which printing technologies can Volaryx calculate?

Accepted Answer

All five major ones: filament printing (FDM), resin (SLA), powder sintering (SLS), HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) and metal printing (SLM). Each technology has its own calculation model and its own settings. Your plan determines which ones you can turn on.

Do my customers need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Customers upload a model on your website, see the price, and send the inquiry — no sign-up, account, or login. This removes an unnecessary step where they could abandon the form.

What happens to inquiries once I hit my monthly limit?

Accepted Answer

Nothing gets lost. Inquiries over the limit are saved and locked in your dashboard — you can see that they came in and at what value. They unlock at the start of the new month, or immediately after upgrading. Your customers never notice any limit on your website.

Question 9

Will customers see that the calculator runs on Volaryx?

Accepted Answer

On the Free and Start plans, there's a small "Powered by Volaryx" signature at the bottom. From the Profi plan up, it disappears and the calculator shows only your colors, your logo and your text — the customer stays with your brand the entire time.

Question 10

Who can see my quote requests and business data?

Accepted Answer

Quote records and company settings are separated in the database: a regular signed-in user can only see their own company. A restricted Volaryx super-admin account can view data when needed for support, security, and service operations.

What if I want to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Anytime, by yourself, from your account — no phone call, no notice period. A canceled subscription runs until the end of the paid period, then the account switches to Free. Your account and settings remain; uploaded request files follow the retention period of the plan.
